Policies Cultural Sharing Policy: Our classes reflect our philosophy that the sharing of culture is for better understanding and appreciation. We do not support cultural exploitation. Class Payment Policy: A down payment is required for classes. The down payment secures a spot for you in the class. Please submit half the class tuition with your application. Class Cancellations Policy: One week prior notice of the class to receive a refund less $25.00 for booking fee. No refund will be afforded the week of the class or for no shows. (Special circumstances may be considered) While Raven's Corner will do its best not to cancel classes, a full refund will be issued if cancellation should occur. Custom Order Policy: Commissions or custom orders require a down payment which is non-refundable once the art piece is started. One thing to keep in mind is that each piece will vary as they are hand crafted. For example, Melissa does not use a mold for her traditional hats, so each hat has its own characteristics. Credit Card/Debit Card Policy: Raven's Corner accepts credit/debit cards for purchases over $10.00. We can accommodate over-the-phone transactions for classes or buying art work. Refunds are issued with a check. A small fee applies. Art Work Purchasing Policy: Art work will be shipped within two businesses days after check or credit card posts. Buyer will pay for all shipping cost including insurance. Return Art Policy: No monetary returns on purchases-exchanges only. You have one week to make exchange after the purchase. We will honor workwo/manship, but we reserve the right to determine fault.
Catering and Food Policy: A down payment for Catering is required. The down payment is non-refundable once the food has been purchased for the meal. (You get the food) It is our policy that we will use high quality food that is stored and cooked in a certified kitchen. Meals will be made from scratch using ingredients that are fresh and local when possible. Raven's Corner reserves the right to cancel in the event of power outages or high wind warnings. Your down payment will be refunded if rescheduling is not an option.
